Weeks 1\u20132:<\/b> We\u2019ll start by reviewing the evolution of literacy instruction, reflecting on how we got here, and identifying what\u2019s most important in our practice\u2014our non-negotiables, negotiables, and how to fit it all in.<\/span><\/p>

Weeks 3\u20136:<\/b> We\u2019ll unpack key approaches to literacy instruction: the Science of Reading and Balanced Literacy, phonics, Guided Reading, and the workshop model. For each, we\u2019ll explore what it is, why it matters, how to teach it, and how to plan for it in the classroom.<\/span><\/p>

Week 7:<\/b> We\u2019ll bring everything together, thinking intentionally about how to integrate these components into a cohesive, effective literacy plan.<\/span><\/p>

Week 8:<\/b> We\u2019ll close with a celebration of learning\u2014showcasing growth, sharing takeaways, and reflecting on next steps as a community of learners.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
